How to Make Chamomile Body Butter

Learn how to make your own whipped chamomile body butter with just a few ingredients.
Prep Time 3 hours
Servings 5 oz

Ingredients
  

  • chamomile flowers
  • ½ cup coconut oil plus 2 tbsp
  • ¼ cup shea butter
  • 15 drops essential oil

Instructions
 

  • Add the coconut oil and chamomile flowers to a glass container and let sit in a double broiler on low for a few hours to infuse. 
  • Strain the flowers. 
  • Add ½ cup infused coconut oil with the shea butter and put back on double broiler until completely melted. 
  • Let cool for a few minutes, then add in the essential oils. 
  • Allow the body butter to harden at room temperature, then use an immersion blender to whip it up. 

Notes

Keep your body butter in a sealed jar away from direct sunlight to help it last longer and prevent melting.
