How to Make Whipped Unicorn Sugar Scrub
Supplies:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup of a carrier oil like solid organic coconut oil, shea butter or sweet almond oil
- 15 drops grapefruit essential oil
- 15 drops ylang ylang essential oil
- 6 drops vanilla essential oil
- ¼ tsp pink blush mica powder
- ¼ tsp ultramarine blue mica powder
- ¼ tsp lavender mica powder
Directions:
In a medium bowl, or bowl of a stand mixer, add the sugar and coconut oil.
Beat for 1 minute, until it forms into a paste-like texture.
Add the essential oils to the sugar bowl.
Beat for an additional 3-5 minutes until it is light and fluffy.
Divide mixture between 3 bowls, and add one color of mica colorant to each of the bowls. Stir well until the color becomes solid.
Add spoonfuls of body scrub into 4-inch jars, alternating colors.
To use, simply apply a small amount of scrub into a gentle lather to wet skin in a circular motion at shower time. Rinse off with warm water and enjoy your newly nourished skin!
